Headshots v s Portraits

Even if you take a perfect shot, it may still require retouching. Show them that you are approachable and easy-going (even if you don’t feel it!). If you look at the “about” page, or “meet the team” of any business, they will have headshots. As mentioned, a headshot is not always a closeup of someone’s face. It can be from around the waist up or even full body. The decision on how wide the shot is to be is largely dependent on how the photo is intended to be used.
